Olive Tree

Few plants carry the romance and timelessness of an Olive Tree. With its gnarled, silver-barked trunk, delicate silver-green foliage that shimmers in the light, and an ancient, storied character that no other indoor tree can replicate, the Olive brings an effortless, sun-soaked Mediterranean elegance to any bright interior. Light: Demands bright, direct to indirect light — a south or west-facing window with maximum sun exposure is ideal. The more light, the more vigorous and compact the growth. Insufficient light causes leggy, weak branching.

Water: Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings, then water thoroughly. Highly drought-tolerant once established — far more forgiving of underwatering than overwatering. Reduce watering significantly in winter.

Humidity/Temp: Prefers dry air and warm conditions; thrives between 60–80°F indoors. Tolerates lower temperatures better than most indoor trees but must be protected from frost. Avoid humid, stuffy conditions which invite disease.
