Rose Plant

The timeless classic.

No flower carries the weight of meaning, beauty, and emotion that a Rose does. Rich, velvety blooms in an extraordinary range of colors — from deep, passionate reds to soft blush pinks and pure, elegant whites — make the Rose the undisputed queen of flowering plants. Grown indoors with the right care, it brings a romantic, garden-fresh presence to any bright space.

Light: Demands bright, direct light — a south or west-facing window with at least 4–6 hours of direct sun daily is ideal. Insufficient light leads to weak growth and poor blooming.

Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but never waterlogged. Water at the base only — moisture on the leaves and petals invites disease. Allow the top inch to dry slightly between waterings during cooler months.

Humidity/Temp: Prefers moderate humidity and good air circulation; thrives in temperatures between 60–75°F. Avoid hot, stuffy conditions and cold drafts equally — both stress the plant and shorten bloom life.

Pet note: Thorns aside, roses are non-toxic to pets — though the thorns themselves warrant keeping them out of reach of curious animals.
