Staghorn Fern
The living wall sculpture.
The Staghorn Fern is unlike any other plant you'll own. Mounted on a wooden board or nestled in a hanging basket, its dramatic, antler-shaped fronds fan outward with a wild, organic confidence that turns any wall into a gallery piece. A true conversation starter — part plant, part living art installation.
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light; strong filtered light encourages the most dramatic frond development. Avoid harsh direct sun which scorches the delicate fronds, and deep shade which stunts growth significantly.
Water: Mist the fronds and soak the root ball thoroughly once or twice a week in warmer months, less frequently in winter. Never let it sit in standing water. The flat, shield-like basal fronds will naturally brown over time — this is completely normal and healthy, do not remove them.
Humidity/Temp: Loves humidity and warmth; thrives between 60–80°F. A bathroom with good indirect light is an ideal environment. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 50°F.
Pet note: Non-toxic to pets — a genuinely pet-safe statement piece that's as dramatic as it is safe.
Natural variation: Each plant is unique; frond length, spread, and the distinctive forking pattern of the antler fronds will vary naturally with age and growing conditions.
